Investment in FinTech has quadrupled to $4.3bn NZD, making it the 2nd biggest in the region for growth.
NZ FinTech has also jumped up 15 places in Global Fintech Rankings, to number 30 globally
New Zealand has a virtual pavilion at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2021, supported by NZTE and featuring 4 NZ Fintech companies:
- 9Spokes: A tracking and insights tool designed to help SMEs enhance performance and harness the power of data to drive business success.
- Capital Preferences: Helps businesses better understand their clients and the decisions they make with their money by using a suite of engaging and fun suitability games.
- Sentro : A SaaS group insurance platform for insurers to manage group insurance schemes (such as health insurance) to companies providing insurance benefits to their staff.
- Sharesies: An online investment platform that gives everyone an inclusive and low-cost way to invest in New Zealand, the US, and Australia.
We are also delighted to see that New Zealand FinTech Valocity, which delivers data and technology solutions across the property ecosystem, has been named one of the international finalists for the prestigious SFF Global Fintech Awards, powered by the Singapore FinTech Festival 2021 and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
The SFF Global FinTech Awards, represents the industry's highest accolade for FinTech innovation. The Awards recognise ground-breaking solutions that have enabled the financial sector to rebound from the impact of the pandemic, including initiatives that have helped create new growth opportunities, transform industry practices, and promote financial inclusion.
