Business Event

Description
Back by popular demand! This event was sold out last year so it will be held over 2 nights for your convenience.

Featuring a hand-picked panel of expert speakers to provide you with practical tips on investing in New Zealand Property.

As New Zealand’s economy climbs out of recession, the residential, commercial and rural property markets are at varying stages of recovery. Mike Woods and Gerald Rundle from Bayleys Realty Group will provide a review of the current conditions of these property markets and offer an opinion on their likely future direction. The session will also present examples of some of the current investment opportunities in the market from around the country.

Speaker Profiles:
Gerald Rundle, Manager Bayleys Research
Gerald joined Bayleys Research in 1997, a division of Bayleys Realty Group Limited. Gerald brought to the position extensive valuation experience in the areas of commercial, industrial and residential property that was attained in a specialist national property valuation firm. His experience in the industry is supported by Bachelor of Property and Bachelor of Commerce degrees, both from the University of Auckland, and he is a registered valuer and a Senior Member of the New Zealand Property Institute.

Mike Woods, Bayleys Realty Group
Mike joined Bayleys Realty Group in 1988 as part of the commercial and industrial property management team and moved into residential sales in 1993. Initially specialising in Auckland inner city apartments, Mike has had the privilege to see the growth and changing face of inner city residential markets. However, today the demand for residential property from an extensive national and international client base has required Mike to broaden this spectrum and in many cases act as a coordinator for the purchaser. Prime examples include a recent sale of land on Waiheke Island to a couple first met in Hong Kong in 2005, a Wellington apartment sold to a UK footballer met in London in 2003 and a resort golf course in Auckland purchased by a prominent NZ businessman.

Brent Allcock, Senior Vice President, ipac
In this session, Brent Allcock from ipac will touch on how buying, selling or holding will impact your financial and tax situation both here in Singapore and back home in New Zealand. For a full profile of Brent please visit: http://www.ipac.com.sg/about.php?mode=viewTeam&gid=42&group=1#teamName
